2015 was one of memorable years for the Montreal Impact, starting in Champions League and running through to the club’s first ever playoff victory. As such, the team scored a number of incredible goals along the way. Although this may not necessarily be a list of the Top 5 goals of the year in terms of quality and skill, it does outline Impact Media top five most memorable markers of 2015.
After ups and downs during the 2015 season, Patrice Bernier was inserted into the starting lineup at the end of the season, then in the playoffs by interim head coach Mauro Biello, and he did not disappoint, scoring an emotional goal against Toronto FC in the playoffs knockout round, the eventual game-winner, which would lead to the first ever playoff win.
