The Montreal Impact will kick off the 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs Thursday at 7pm, at Stade Saputo against rivals Toronto FC.

As the third seed in the Eastern Conference, IMFC earned the right to host the Knockout Round game against the 6th seeded side TFC. In the other knockout game in the East, D.C. United (4) hosts the New England Revolution (5) on Wednesday.

An Impact victory would set up a conference semifinal home and away matchup with the Columbus Crew SC, who had a bye directly into the semifinals due to its top two finish, along with the Supporters’ Shield winning New York Red Bulls (1).

If the Impact wins against Toronto, the first leg of its semifinal would be played only three days later on Sunday, November 1 in Montreal, while the second leg would be in Columbus on Sunday, November 8.

Following a FIFA international break from November 9 to 17, the Conference championship matches, also a home and away series, will begin with the first leg on Sunday, November 22 and close out on Sunday, November 29.

As for the Western Conference, the playoffs kickoff on Wednesday in Seattle, where the Sounders (4) host defending MLS Cup champion LA Galaxy (5), while the Portland Timbers (3) welcome Sporting Kansas City (6) on Thursday. FC Dallas (1) and the Vancouver Whitecaps FC (2) earned the byes to the conference semifinals.

Of the two clubs to reach the MLS Cup final, the team with the better regular season record will host the championship game on Sunday, December 6.
