Soccer Spring Break

EDS Soccer Schools Impact

Some 300 kids spent their spring break playing the sport they love…while having a lot of fun.

The Montreal Impact soccer schools held spring break camps in Laval, Brossard and Montreal, where qualified members of the club’s coaching staff coached the participants on the tactical and technical aspects of the game, with a fun and friendly environment.

“It’s a more professional soccer camp  with members of the Academy, both coaching staff and senior players, who try to introduce the game to youngsters who might not all be high level players, but all of whom love the game,” said Impact U21 assistant coach and Academy fitness coach Yannick Girard. “And sometimes, you might find someone who one day may join the Academy. It’s also another way to bring the pro club to the youth of our city and introduce them to their team and give them a chance to meet some of the pro players.”

Last change to register for pro training session

The SoSc is giving kids the chance to play same on the very same field as the pros. On March 23, before the game against the New York Red Bulls, the SoSc will be hosting a training session at Olympic Stadium. But there’s no time to waste. Less than 15 spots are left for the event and the registration deadline is March 15 at 4pm (ET).
