Organizers of the 2013 Walt Disney World Pro Soccer Classic released the tournament’s schedule, unveiling the Impact’s opponents for the preseason competition to be held in Florida in February.
The boys from la belle province will take on MLS sides Sporting Kansas City on February 9 and D.C. United on February 16, while facing the NASL’s Tampa Bay Rowdies on February 13.

Three other MLS sides – Columbus, Toronto, Philadelphia – will participate in the tournament, as well as the Orlando City Soccer Club (USL). The teams will be divided into two groups, with each side playing three games before a final day to decide first, second, third and fourth place, making it a total of four games for each team. The Impact and its opponents are set up in group B, while the remaining sides make up group A.
All games will be played at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World.

At last year’s tournament, the Impact finished in third spot in its group with a record of 0-1-2 (2pts, -3GD), not qualifying for the next round. The Vancouver Whitecaps FC finished first with a record of 3-0-0 (9pts, +7GD), while the Houston Dynamo and Sporting Kansas City concluded the tournament with the same record as the Impact, but had a better goal differential.
