Jordan will be in Chester this weekend to attend games from the Big East college tournament, at PPL Park, home of the Philadelphia Union. Four colleges will battle for a spot in the NCAA championship, which will be held from December 7-9: Connecticut, Georgetown, Marquette and Notre Dame.

The club’s technical staff will also be looking at other important tournaments played this weekend: ACC, Big South, Big Ten, IAC 12 and Conference USA.

In 2012, the Impact had selected forward Andrew Wenger (Duke) in the first round and Calcum Mallace (Marquette), in the second round.

According to Jordan, the 2013 edition will be slightly less good as last year, when players like Darren Mattocks (Vancouver), Kelyn Rowe (New England), Nick DeLeon (D.C. United) and Austin Berry (Chicago) had been drafted.

The 2013 SuperDraft will be held in January, in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Impact will be eligible to select three players: two in the first round and one in the second.
