MONTREAL, Quebec – The Montreal Impact introduced on Wednesday the new 2013 pricing structure for season tickets.
Globally, season ticket prices will be reduced, on average, by 15%.
“We listened to the calls of our supporters and we have adjusted our prices,” said Impact president Joey Saputo. “I am proud to confirm that there will be a price reduction and we will be rewarding the loyalty of our current season ticket holders. Even though we are currently having success on the field and in the stands, we will never take our ticket holders for granted.”
In addition, 2013 season tickets will also include an additional game, 19 in total, including 17 regular season games, an Amway Canadian Championship game and a game to be determined.
Season tickets for 2013 will be available in seven categories, at a cost of $295, $385, $475, $580, $770 and $1,070. Tickets in the Saputo Family Corner are now available at a cost of $195 for children and $385 for adults for the season.
Season ticket holders have until October 19 to renew their seats. Ticket sales for those who left a deposit to be on our priority sales list begins on October 22, while season tickets for the general public go on sale on starting November 5.
Please note that in 2012, the Impact sold 8,000 season ticket packages and is currently in second place in MLS for attendance with an average of 23,107 spectators per game for a total of 346,605 spectators, with two regular season home games still to go. The Impact twice hosted over 60,000 people at Olympic Stadium and has played three times in front of a sellout crowd at Stade Saputo.
The Impact has fixed an objective of 10,000 season tickets for 2013 and an average attendance of 18,500 spectators per game, which will include 2 or 3 games to be played at Olympic Stadium to start the season.
