Only 5,000 tickets left for game vs LA Galaxy

Record crowd Olympic Stadium Home Opener

MONTREAL – With less than 72 hours before the reigning MLS Cup Champion LA Galaxy come to town to face off against the Montreal Impact this Saturday at 4pm ET, at Olympic Stadium, the club announced Wednesday that only 5,000 tickets are left for the matchup.

Affordable seats for this game are still available, and tickets can be purchased via admission.com, by calling 1-855-790-1245 or at the Olympic Stadium ticket office.

“It’s great to see Montreal Impact supporters and soccer fans get excited about this game,” said Impact executive vice-president Richard Legendre. “The atmosphere at the home opener against the Chicago Fire was incredible and we expect nothing less for this weekend’s matchup versus the LA Galaxy.”

The Impact established an attendance record in Montreal for a professional soccer game in its home opener against the Fire, March 17, with 58,912 spectators.

Management recommends that those attending Saturday’s game arrive at least an hour before start time, in order to avoid missing the beginning of the game. Please note that stadium doors open at 2pm ET.

On the following Saturday, May 19, the Impact will play its final game at Olympic Stadium, at 7:30pm, against the New York Red Bulls. On that day, the Impact will be avenging its loss to New York on March 31.

The club will play its first game at Stade Saputo, expanded to 20,341 seats, on June 16 against the Seattle Sounders FC. New 12-game season ticket packages for all matches at Stade Saputo are available via impactmontreal.com, or by calling 514-328-3668.
