FC Dallas is a team loaded with offensive firepower.

With forwards Ricardo Villar and Blas Perez attacking the box, and wingers Brek Shea, Zach Lloyd and Fabian Castillo, the Impact could have their hand full in the defensive zone, come Saturday evening.

“They [FC Dallas] play with true wingers and they are a threat offensively,” said Impact head coach Jesse Marsch. “Brek Shea is a real threat from the wing, so we have to be able to do a better job in one on one situations. We just have to deal better with plays from wide positions because that is where they are dangerous.”

The key, according to Marsch, is to make sure that the midfielders track back.

“Our midfielders have to help out when Shea and Castillo get wide and do a good job in the box when Perez and Villar are pressuring.”

Dallas will be missing a key piece of their arsenal as midfielder David Ferreira has been ruled out due to injury, but they still have plenty of weapons.

“They have a lot of mobility and speed, so we will have to be organized in the middle of the park,” said Marsch.

The Montreal Impact will travel to Frisco, Texas on Friday morning and will play FC Dallas on Saturday evening at 8:30pm (ET). The game will be broadcast on TVA Sports and will also be available on illico mobile, illico web and MLS Live.
