David Choinière

PROFESSIONAL
2017: Appeared in three regular season games in his second MLS season… Started one Canadian Championship game, scoring his first career goal with the first team on May 30, in Vancouver. 

2016: Recorded one goal and one assist in 16 USL games with FC Montreal in his first professional season… Made his first-team debut on June 8 against Toronto FC in the Amway Canadian Championship Semifinal return leg… Signed with the first team as a Homegrown Player on June 28… Made his MLS debut on October 23 in New England, earning his first career start… Also started the international game against A.S. Roma on August 3 at Stade Saputo.

INTERNATIONAL
Received his first invitation with the Canadian national team in August 2017… Previously played with the U15, U16, U18 and U20 national teams, making his debut in 2012 aged 15.

ACADEMY
Joined the Montreal Impact Academy in 2011, playing successively with the U16 and U18 teams.

YOUTH
Played minor soccer with the Celtix du Haut-Richelieu.

PERSONAL
Son of Daniel and Danielle Choinière… Brother Mathieu has been part of the Montreal Impact Academy since 2011.
