On the game…

It’s hard to define what went wrong after a game like this, but what I can say is that we weren’t good enough today. I think the will was there, but the quality was not today. We didn’t create enough chances and we kept chasing the game after they scored, which is never easy. We ask a lot of our players to constantly push forward. I know that they would have liked to do better, but that happens time. We needed to try and improve the gap between the teams behind us, but we couldn’t do that today.

On trouble scoring goals…

This is a tough question to answer. Sometimes you go through stretches where you score a lot of goals, and you can’t really say why. It’s true; we are missing a little bit in the final 20 metres. We couldn’t penetrate the box. We didn’t make it tough on their defenders. 

On looking at the next three games...

We leave for LA Monday and then we have to prepare to try and get all three points. They are looking for points as well, so it won’t be easy, especially playing away. We fell today, but we have to get up.  Soccer is cruel sometimes, but that’s the way it is
