Impact midfielder Felipe to undergo surgery

Brazilian will miss the last two games of the season

The Montreal Impact announced on Saturday that midfielder Felipe will undergo surgery for a sports hernia, next Tuesday. The Brazilian will miss the miss the last two games of the season.

Felipe, who has played 30 games in first season in MLS - all as a starter- has scored four goals and leads the team with 10 assists. He was also earned the 5th spot in the MLS's 2012 "24 players under 24" ranking. The Impact's number 7 also won the AT&T Goal of the Week with a spectaculair scissor-kick against the Philadelphia Union, in week 22.
