Players excited to be in Montreal
The Impact’s 2012 pre-season will kick-off on Monday morning at Marie-Victorin Sports Complex, and players have arrived in the city that they will call their new home. While the temperature has been one of the main topics of conversation on Twitter, players have also been showing a lot of excitement about arriving in Montreal and joining their new MLS team.
Midfielders Sinisa Ubiparipovic, who had played with the team last season, as and Davy Arnaud have been settling well upon their arrivals a few days ago. Ubiparipovic even had a few comments to make about the lack of snow here in Montreal, while MLS veteran Arnaud seems really eager to begin training.
Sorted out few things , phone, cable , apt ... Mtl starting to feel like home .... Need more snow!!! #montreal

Had a good trip to Montreal over the weekend. Found a place to live and enjoyed a little bit more of the city. Can't wait to get started!

Patrice Bernier shared Arnaud’s excitement towards the pre-season, counting down the days until the start of the camp. Having grown up in Quebec, as well as having played in Denmark and Norway in the past 10 years, it is fair to say that he has no issues with the temperature.

Meanwhile, midfielder Jeb Brovsky has shown his willingness to try new things off the pitch by taking up French, and it's going very well for him.
Good news... I have been studying away at French and actually used it today to order food and coffee... baby steps people baby steps :)

Currently training with the U23 US National Team, Zarek Valentin and SuperDraft first pick Andrew Wenger have been very busy planning their move to Montreal, learning about the Metric system and looking for winter jackets and boots. Both players should be meeting the rest of team later this month.
Trying to learn Celsius is really really hard... But planning apartment stuff with @andrewwenger keeps the time going. Montreal on the 30th!

Finally, SuperDraft second-round pick Calum Mallace has made his way to Montreal and is already liking the vibe around the city.
First full day in the beautiful city of Montreal. Feels different but I like it.
