Impact President Joey Saputo at the Golden Foot Awards

Manchester United icon Ryan Giggs received the 2011 Golden Foot Award, gathering the most votes from an international jury. He finished just ahead of Javier Zanetti, Samuel Eto’o and Xavi Hernandez. Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder David Beckham was also one of the 10 nominated players.

The Golden Foot Award is an international football award, given to players who stand out for their athletic achievements and for their personality.

Joey Saputo also took part in the Champions Promenade, notably in the company of Prince Albert II of Monaco, as well as soccer greats Ruud Gullit and Luis Figo.
