Following a three-week break from regular season action, the Montreal Impact (3-7-3) will play its first ever game in the new version of Stade Saputo this Saturday at 7:30pm (ET), against the Seattle Sounders FC (7-3-3). The game will be broadcast live on RDS, TSN2 and CJAD 800, and will be available on illico Mobile.
Goalkeeper Evan Bush, defender Zarek Valentin, midfielder Felipe and forward Andrew Wenger were all impressed when they first walked on the pitch as they visited Stade Saputo on Wednesday afternoon.
The Impact faces off against the Seattle Sounders FC on Saturday as the club plays its first ever home game at the revamped Stade Saputo, and will have their hands full for the occasion. The Impact’s former USL foes have three Designated Players on its roster, one of only three teams in Major League Soccer to have filled up all-three DP spots along with Toronto and the L.A.
