La nouvelle du jour en MLS : La ligue a établi un nouveau record d'assistance pour une deuxième année consécutive. La moyenne a augmenté de 5% en 2012, pour passer à 18 807 spectateurs par match. La moyenne a battu celle établie en 2011 (17 844) par près de 1000 supporters par match.
La MLS se situe maintenant au 7e rang des moyennes d'assistance au monde, devant la Ligue 1 (France), la Chinese Super League et la Eredivisie (Pays-Bas).
Et l'Impact dans tout ça? Pour sa première année en MLS, l'organisation a obtenu une moyenne de 22 772 spectateurs par match, bon pour le troisième rang de la ligue, derrière les Seattle Sounders et le LA Galaxy. Un record à battre l'année prochaine? Certainement!

For the second consecutive year, Major League Soccer has set new marks for attendance. The league average grew more than five percent, coming in at 18,807. This bettered the 2011 mark of 17,844 by nearly 1,000 fans per game.
MLS now sits in 7th rank for the worldwide soccer attendance average, in front of France's Ligue 1, the Chinese Super League and the Eredivisie in Netherlands.
And what about the Impact? Well, in its first year in MLS, the club has reached an average of 22,772 supporters per game, good for the third rank in the league, behind the Seattle Sounders and LA Galaxy. Will this record be beaten in 2013? You bet!

Depuis le début de la saison, notre vidéographe profite de sa position sur les lignes de côté pour produire l'excellente série vidéo intitulée "De la ligne de touche".
Le match de samedi dernier était encore plus spécial parce qu'il s'agissait d'un véritable retour à la maison.
Merci à ceux qui étaient présents pour la réouverture du Stade Saputo et qui ont pu apprécier la superbe performance de l'Impact contre les Sounders lors de cette journée historique. Et à ceux qui n'ont malheureusement pu être de la partie, nous espérons vous voir au stade cet été !

Since the beginning of the season, our videographer has had a pretty good view of all our home games. And he's done the most of it, by producing a superb video series called "From the Sidelines".
Saturday's game was even more special because it marked our return home, to Stade Saputo.
Special thanks to those who were there and were able to witness the Impact's stellar performance against the Sounders on this historic day. And for those who couldn't make it unfortunately, we hope that we will see you here this summer!
