CAREER
Made his USL D1 debut with the Impact in 2002… Trained on an informal basis with the Impact during the 1998-99 indoor season, but only officially joined the team for the 2002 outdoor season… Remained inactive for a good part of 2001 due to the IT ligament syndrome, which limited the elasticity of the ligament joining the hip to the knee… As a rookie with the Impact, spent a total of 1,554 minutes on the field in 2002, good for 4th place among Impact defenders… After earning a trial the preceding month, came to an agreement with 2nd-division Swedish club Vasteras SK in January of 2003… Started 25 of the team’s 30 games in 2003… Back with the Impact in 2004, was one of the key elements of the best defence in the league, that allowed only 15 goals in 28 games, a club record… Was part of the starting eleven for the championship final, which the Impact won 2-0, against the Seattle Sounders… Earned his first career point with the Impact June 22, 2005 against the Charleston Battery, when he set up Mauricio Vincello’s goal at the 26th minute… In 2006, reached the 5,000 career minutes played mark with the Impact in the June 18 game in Montreal, played against the Portland Timbers… Completed his 2nd straight season with at least 20 games played… His 1,914 minutes played in 2006 are a USL D1 career high for him so far.

AMATEUR
Played for Fairfield University in the NCAA and AS Jean-Talon Rosemont in the Quebec Elite Soccer League (LSEQ)… Picked several times on the LSEQ all-star teams… Won two gold medals and one silver medal at the national championships with the U15, U17 and U18 Quebec Select teams… Won a silver medal at the national club championships with Jean-Talon Rosemont.

INTERNATIONAL
Invited at the Canadian national team’s training camps, January 8-20, 2006 in Carson, California, and May 1-8, 2006 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida… Was on Canada’s starting eleven for the international friendly against the United States, January 22 in San Diego… Contributed to the shutout in a 0-0 tie against the American team… Was picked on the starting eleven for the Canadian national team’s friendly game in Montreal against Jamaica, September 4, 2006 and helped Canada pick up a 1-0 win… Was then used as a sub in the return match in Kingston, Jamaica, on October 8, in a 2-1 loss against the Reggae Boyz… In 2005, played every minute of all three round-robin games for Canada at the Gold Cup tournament, July 7 against Costa Rica, July 9 against the USA and July 12 against Cuba… Also played the full 90 minutes in an international friendly against Spain on September 3… Had his first cap with the Canadian World Cup team January 18, 2004, a friendly match against Barbados… Helped his team come up with a 1-0 win… Was part of the starting eleven with the Canadian Olympic team during 2003 qualifying rounds, as well as during the CONCACAF Olympic qualifying tournament held February 2-12, 2004, in Mexico… Was also part of Canada’s U20 team from 1998 to 2002, and became team captain, but missed the CONCACAF qualifying tournament and then the 2001 Youth World Championship in Argentina, because of his IT ligament syndrome… In 2007, played 13 games, nine as starter for a total of 773 minutes, with the Toronto FC, in the Major League Soccer.

2008 SEASON
Started 17 of the 19 regular season games he played (1,496 minutes)… Registered an assist on the Impact’s first goal scored at Saputo Stadium by Rocco Placentino on June 13… Helped the Impact to end the season with the second best defensive record, tied with Vancouver, with only 28 goals allowed… In a Nutrilite Canadian Championship game against the Toronto FC July 22, he injured his thigh and subsequently missed 10 games… Started all four games of that tournament… Came back to play on September 5 against Minnesota… Played 7 of the 10 games in the CONCACAF Champions League.
